Swimming Pool Opening Preparation Checklist
We want to ensure a smooth start to the swimming pool season. Below is a list of items that need to be completed before your scheduled pool opening date. An additional charge may apply if a return visit is required due to incomplete preparation.
Tarp/poly winter covers must be free of standing water, leaves and debris. If not completed we will need to reschedule your pool opening to the next available day.
Skimmer baskets, pump baskets, weir doors, and directional eyeball fittings must be placed next to the filter for the technician to install. Any missing items will be replaced and charged to your credit card on file.
Water level: The pool water must be filled to at least ¾ of the skimmer opening prior to our arrival. If the water level is too low, the pool cannot be operated.
Winter cover removal: Customers removing their own winter cover must ensure it is completely removed before our arrival. If cover is not removed we will charge for your credit card on file for a Full Pool Opening.
Gas heaters with standing pilots: Customers must arrange for their gas delivery company to service and start the heater prior to opening. This allows our technicians to operate the heater during the pool opening if requested. Due to state and insurance regulations, our technicians cannot light pilot lights, and heaters will not be operated unless specifically requested.
